Partners
This project would not be possible without the partnership between the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources Extension and the Urban Wildlife Information Network. A huge thank you to the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government (ACCGov) for funding this project and helping us to expand and further contribute to the study of urban wildlife. Additional funding has been awarded from the UGA Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities and the UGA Office of Sustainability to support the continuation and growth of our project.
A further thank you to the many departments of ACCGov supporting our project and allowing us to use their properties for this research: Athens-Ben Epps Airport, Athens-Clarke County Extension, Fire, Leisure Services, Public Utilities, Solid Waste, Sustainability, and Transportation & Public Works (Streets & Drainage Division). Also thank you to the Clarke County School District, the University of Georgia: College of Veterinary Medicine and Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, Athens Technical College, Nawkaw, and various private landowners for allowing us to put cameras on their property.
Thank you to the many volunteers we have had over the years for their help tagging camera photos for our project. Without the help and support of our partners, this project would not be successful.
